iAge is an international cooperation project focusing on the improvement of regional development in areas of decline affected by an ageing population.
In Dedemsvaart a group of fifty elderly people are learning more about the advantages of modern technology. They are participating in "Lifelong Living Online", which is part of the iAge project. The Municipality of Hardenberg is working together with home care organization "Carinova", welfare organization "De Stuw" and the 'Baalderborg Group' (care for the handicapped).
As Spring is coming, the City of Kortrijk and Howest complete theresearch they have been conducting in cooperation with iAge partners Leiedaland Mentor vzw. In this final phase of the research, all results are mapped,processed and checked to get an overview of the effects of past ICT-trainingand the need for future training on ICT-related issues.
Vennesla municipality focuses on maintaining and developing the voluntary work, including activities towards the seniors.
